A placement in our Healthcare program offers a variety of different field experiences. Depending on your skill-set and level of specific practice, your work could be involved at Phnom Penh's largest public hospital in patient care or take a more observational approach during operations. Volunteers with a background in practices such as (but not limited to): physical therapy, nursing or caretaking have ample opportunity to put their skill to use here. An expertise in these areas are considered a commodity due to the degredation of healthcare after the Khmer Rouge Regime's destruction of the majority of good medical facilities in Cambodia.
