DAILY LIFE

Over the duration of your placement there are many things to see and do in and around the city of Phnom Penh. On week days it is likely that you will work from 8am - 12pm, have time for a lunch break, work 2pm - 4pm and have the rest of the afternoon/evenings to yourself. Phnom Penh has a variety of different restaurants, markets and plenty of events scheduled around town so that you will never get bored! Weekend trips to places such as Siem Reap for the beautiful Ankor Wat temples (and a night out on Pub Street!) or Sihanoukville for a few days of white sandy beaches are very common among volunteers depending on your length of stay.
